- Bachelor’s Degree: Up to 7 semesters from first university registration
- Single-Cycle Master’s Degree: Program duration + 1 semester from first university registration
- Master’s Degree: Up to 5 semesters from first enrolment in any master’s program
- PhD Programmes: Standard program duration from the previous year’s PhD enrolment
- Specialisation Schools (non-medical): Standard course duration from previous year’s enrolment

S.T.E.M. Female Students

- 20% increase for female students in Science, Tech, Engineering, Math (not combinable with other increases)

Double Degree Students

- 20% increase if merit is maintained in both courses

Students with Disabilities (≥66%)

- Up to 40% increase for assistive needs (subject to evaluation)

International Mobility & Internships

- €600/month (max 10 months)
- Travel refund: €100 (EU) / €500 (non-EU)
- Open to both beneficiaries and eligible non-beneficiaries
- Only one grant during the entire study course
- Amount halved for “first year overtime” students

Canteen Services

Beneficiaries

- 1 free meal/day from Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2026
- In cities without canteens, receive equivalent cash value
- No refunds for unused meals

Eligible Non-Beneficiaries

- First-year students : meal at minimum rate
- Later-year students : 1 free meal/day
- No refunds for non-use

Reimbursement is Possible only if:





- Student resides in a private college with meals
- Student studied abroad (certified by the university)
- Request submitted by Jan 31, 2027

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship competition is open to:

- Italian, EU, and international students (as per relevant Italian decrees).
- Students applying to the University of Pavia for the 2026/2027 academic year for:
- First-year enrolment in a bachelor’s, master’s, or single-cycle master’s program.
- Enrolment in the “filter semester” of Medicine and Surgery or Dentistry (Pavia must be selected as the first choice).
- An extra year of any degree program (one year beyond the standard course duration).
- Specialization courses (excluding medical ones under Legislative Decree 368/99).
- PhD programs (if not already receiving a government-funded PhD scholarship or research grant).

Additional Eligibility Rules:

- Students with disabilities (≥66%) may apply even if enrolled in the second or further year beyond the standard course duration.
- Students must not:
- Hold a degree of equal or higher level to the one they’re applying for.
- Receive another scholarship in the same academic year from public or private sources.

Enrolment Requirements:

- Final enrolment at the University of Pavia must be completed by November 16, 2026.
- Students applying for a master’s degree may be “conditionally enrolled” if their bachelor’s is not yet completed.
