We are partnering with a leading international investment platform focused on technology investments across Europe. To support the continued growth of its M&A; activities, we are looking for a Vice President – Technology M&A; who will play a pivotal role in originating, executing and managing complex cross-border transactions within the technology sector. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with commercial acumen, working alongside senior investment professionals, founders, management teams and external advisors on acquisitions, disposals, mergers, carve-outs and strategic investments.
Key Responsibilities Lead the execution of end-to-end M&A; transactions across the European technology ecosystem.
Coordinate financial, commercial, legal, tax and operational due diligence processes.
Develop sophisticated financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO analyses where appropriate) and investment materials.
Prepare investment memoranda, board presentations and transaction documentation.
Manage negotiations alongside senior stakeholders, external advisors and counterparties.
Build and maintain relationships with founders, CEOs, investment bankers, private equity firms, venture capital funds and strategic corporates.
Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities aligned with the companys investment strategy.
Monitor market trends across software, fintech, AI, cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, cloud, data, IT services and other technology verticals.
Support portfolio companies on strategic acquisitions and integration initiatives where required.
Candidate
Profile Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering; MBA or CFA considered a plus.
Approximately 6–10 years of experience in:
Private Equity Corporate Development Technology-focused advisory firms Demonstrated experience executing complex cross-border M&A; transactions.
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness.
Experience interacting directly with C-level executives and founders Languages: English (mandatory) and an additional European language. Candidates with experience in one or more of the following sectors will be highly regarded: Enterprise Software (SaaS), Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, FinTech, Digital Platforms and IT Services.
