**Main tasks and responsibilities**: - Develop self-running AI software to automate Remote Sensing image processing tasks
- Research and implement the appropriate ML solutions and architecture
- Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods through typical feature extraction e dimensional reduction tasks
- Run machine learning tests and experiments
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
- Define the best training approach, select the best training dataset and validate the end-2-end training system
- Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
- Keep abreast of developments in the field
- Working in close contact with the R&D; and SW areas **Requirements**: - Master's degree in computer engineering, telecommunications, mathematics or other equivalent technical-scientific fields




- Proven professional experience of at least 3 years as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Ability to write robust Object Oriented code especially in Python
- Understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architecture
- Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras, PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills **The following are preferential**: - Experience in Signal/Image processing solution development
- Knowledge of C/C++ and capability to integrate solution into an operational data processing environment
- As a plus: knowledge of the RADAR, SAR and/or Optical systems and related data processing pipelines
