We are currently seeking a **R&D; Mechanical Designer & ERP Specialist **to join our dynamic team in **Tognana, Italy **! In the role of R&D; Mechanical Designer & ERP Specialist you will contribute to regional Sustaining and VAVA Engineering activities. This multi-layered opportunity will give you exposure on task from MCAD designing, PLM Change Analysis and Bill of Materials. **What kind of work will you be doing?** Designing solutions with the focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal and piping), collaborating with Suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.Creating and reviewing product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).
- Meeting objectives of cost, quality, environment, and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.
- Analyzing and resolving technical problems as regards assigned products; improving, updating, reviewing the mechanical drawings according to the information from the Production, Procurement and Logistics departments, to simplify the assembly, reducing the costs and improving the quality.
- Acting as Analyst for the process of Change Orders released by the Eng Sustaining and VAVE team in Oracle PD PLM.




- Managing the COs created by the team, check their accuracy, create CCB matrix and approve them.
- Managing Master Items and BOMs in Oracle, acting as the Oracle Data Insertion Specialist (ODIS) supporting R&D; team engineers in both Nove Mesto and Tognana.
- Managing of PIPO (Phase IN-OUT) components and BOMs.
- Managing of Oracle Configurations rules: creating, updating and managing BOMs configurations rules with Oracle Dario tool.
- **What will make you successful?
**Technical Skills: at least 5 years of previous working experience on similar activities, ideally in the Air Conditioning sector.Good knowledge of light structural work processing is mandatory.
- Knowledge of refrigeration principles is desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of 3D/2D CAD & PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools, particularly PTC Creo and Solid Edge.
- Knowledge of the management computer systems.
