We manage several short-term vacation rentals in Rome and are looking for a friendly, reliable Check-in Assistant to help welcome guests and ensure everything runs smoothly during arrivals. **Responsibilities**
- Greeting guests, handing over keys, and providing a brief introduction to the apartment.
- Coordinating arrival timing and staying available during the agreed window.
- Quality check of cleaning and setup before arrival (linen, amenities, trash, basic order) using a short checklist; report issues with photos via WhatsApp.
- It may be required to prepare the apartment with small welcome treats or essential guest supplies before arrival, when requested.
- Basic, safe first-line upkeep in case of minor issues (e.g., replace a light bulb, reset a router, re-seat a loose screw, re-fit a battery) strictly within provided guidance; promptly escalate anything beyond scope to the property manager. **Requirements**: - Excellent English skills (native or advanced level).
- Reliability and a friendly attitude.
- Fair knowledge of the city and the ability to move around easily; **a scooter or similar two-wheeled vehicle (not a car) is essential for quick travel and punctuality, especially during strikes or heavy traffic.**:



- Flexibility to work at various times depending on guest arrival.
