Position: Site Manager

- Start Date: September 2026 or earlier
- Location: On-site, Monday to Friday
- Language Requirement: Italian with English proficiency
- Contract Duration: 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary point of contact for IT, Quality Assurance, and Facilities teams for all site IT infrastructure matters.
- Manage and oversee all GxP change management activities, ensuring no production changes are made without formal review and approval.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and Quality Management Review meetings.
- Plan and coordinate scheduled and emergency maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Serve as the main escalation point for incidents affecting GxP systems and coordinate with Quality Assurance and Operations teams.
- Maintain the site's IT asset inventory, configuration records, and validation status of GxP systems.
- Support regulatory inspections and act as the IT liaison during audits and inspections.

On-site Requirement

- Must be physically present at the L'Aquila site 5 days a week during normal business operations.
- During audits, system validations, regulatory inspections,



or major infrastructure changes, the candidate must provide full-time on-site support for the entire activity.

Environment

This is a pharmaceutical manufacturing and research facility operating under EU GMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP 5 regulations. The customer will provide training on GxP and site-specific pharmaceutical procedures.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

- Strong IT infrastructure management experience.
- Experience working in GxP/GMP-regulated environments (preferred).
- Incident, change, and asset management experience.
- Vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- Italian language skills with good English communication.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in L'Aquila, Italy for a 3-year contract.

Overall, this is a senior on-site IT Operations Lead/Site Manager role in a pharmaceutical environment, with responsibility for site operations, compliance, governance, and coordination rather than hands-on desktop support alone.
