About this vacancy

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting technical feasibility studies, evaluating the manufacturability of parts in relation to design constraints, available technologies, and machine tool capabilities.
- Estimating machine times and setup times using standard methodologies such as MTM to ensure accuracy in planning and costs.
- Using CATIA V5 to analyze 3D models, identify critical steps, and propose production-oriented optimizations (DfM).
- Defining the complete work cycle, including machining sequences, rotations, fixtures, tool selection, cutting parameters, and continuous improvement solutions.
- Coordinating the subsequent phases of the production process, such as painting and surface or heat treatments, ensuring operational flow consistency and smoothness.

What we expect from you

- Knowledge of CAD software, preferably CATIA V5
- Experience in mechanical design and solid understanding of mechanical processing




- Excellent relational and interfacing skills with design, production, and quality
- Proficiency in Italian (C1) and English

What you can expect from us

The position includes a permanent contract, and the gross annual salary (RAL) offered will not be less than €29,000, in compliance with the provisions of the CCNL Commercio – Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi. TMC is committed to offering a competitive compensation package, and at the end of the selection process, based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications, may propose a final RAL higher than the abovementioned level. In line with our business model, the final compensation package also includes a direct project profit-sharing component, an individual skills development budget of €4,000 net per year, and an annual welfare credit.
