ppWithin its bEmbedded Systems Business Unit /b,b TXT e-Tech /b is seeking an bAvionics Software Engineer /b to support the software certification activities of a bsafety-critical embedded /b applications for aerospace applications, in compliance with DO-178C requirements. The selected candidate will work alongside a team of experts on the development, verification, and documentation of software certification artifacts for embedded systems.bKey Responsibilities /b /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the development and verification of safety-critical embedded software for aerospace applications. /li liSupport the preparation of DO-178C certification documentation (Software Development Plans, Software Verification Plans, Software Requirements, and Traceability Matrices). /li liDefine strategies for the definition of software requirements (both functional and detailed low-level requirements) ensuring adherence to applicable standards. /li liSupport requirements analysis and coverage assessment for software certification. /li liLead the Development and execution of component and integration tests for embedded software. /li liDefine software verification goals and methods through static and dynamic analysis. /li liReview and assess the impact of existing certification artifacts to identify reuse opportunities. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Mandatory Technical Skills /h3 ul liBasic knowledge of software development for real-time embedded systems. /li liFamiliarity with embedded software architectures and low-level firmware. /li liProficiency in at least one structured programming language (preferably C, C++, or Python). /li liProven experience with at least one of the following architectures: Intel® Tiger Lake x86/64-bit processor, NXP Layerscape, Xilinx Zynq, Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC.



/li liFamiliarity with DO-178C software certification principles. /li /ul h3Preferred Technical Skills /h3 ul liExperience with static analysis tools, unit testing frameworks, or debugging on embedded platforms. /li liBasic knowledge of Intel® Boot Guard, Intel® Firmware Support Package (FSP), the Multiboot2 standard, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM). /li liFamiliarity with cryptography and security concepts for embedded systems. /li liExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git). /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong problem-solving and teamwork abilities. /li liStructured, detail-oriented approach to work. /li liGood command of written and spoken English for technical documentation and reporting. /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in one of the following fields: /li liSoftware Engineering /li liElectronic Engineering /li liBiomedical Engineering /li liMechatronics Engineering /li liAerospace Engineering /li liAeronautical Engineering /li liSpace Engineering /li liOr an equivalent STEM discipline /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liThe opportunity to join a dynamic, international environment and work with a team of industry experts. /li liContinuous training and updates on the latest avionics standards and technologies. /li liExcellent professional growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company. /li liA permanent employment contract. /li liAnnual gross salary ranging from €35,000 to €39,000, depending on experience and qualifications. /li liThe final employment level will be determined during the selection process based on the candidate's profile and in accordance with the Italian Metalworkers' Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico). /li /ul pThis position is open to applications of all genders, pursuant to Legislative Decree 198/2006.
