ResponsibilitiesTheposition holder will support robotics and automation manufacturing lines byhandling incidents and requests to restore service, implementing workaroundswhere necessary to ensure production equipment remains operational. The rolealso involves analyzing issues using structured resolution methodologies toidentify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions. Inaddition, the position will support manufacturing change requests related tonew business requirements and contribute to improving equipment efficiency.Theresponsibilities include, but are not limited to: Troubleshoot issues related toapplications such as AMA (Activity Manager Automation), EICs (EquipmentIntegrated Controller), and EMCS (Equipment Monitoring and Control System)within the robotics and automation environment. Apply ST standard resolutionmethodologies, such as 8D, to identify root causes and implement permanentcorrective and preventive actions. Support users in addressing newbusiness requirements. Test new features in softwarereleases related to automation, ensuring existing features continue to functionas expected. Test and deploy new versions of EICs(Equipment Controller) and perform characterization and buy-off activities forEICs on new equipment types when required. Conduct training sessions for keyusers when required.
Develop and maintain documentation,while following and improving operating procedures to ensure robust,high-quality customer service delivered within budget and on time. Your ProfileThe Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:Bachelor’s degree inInformation Technology or a related field. Knowledge of PL/SQL. Experience in robotics andautomation within a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset,particularly with AMA and MCS applications. Be prepared to work in a diverseenvironment and comply with ST Health & Safety rules. Be able to work both independentlyand as part of a team. Demonstrate a willingness tocontinuously develop knowledge and skills to successfully carry out assignedtasks and projects. Strong presentation skills and theability to deliver training will also be considered an advantage. Theexpected salary range for this position is between 40,000 and 48,000 grossper year, depending on experience and the level of seniority within theorganization.
