The company operates in over 40 countries, managing a portfolio that includes ocean vessels, river boats, yachts in the Galápagos, and camps in Africa.
/p pOver the past four years, AKTG has developed its own information system, OneIS, which collects and manages bookings across all properties.
OneIS integrates a full CRM with customers, travel advisors, agencies, consortia, MICE customers, and more.
While the company has solid Business Intelligence systems, it seeks to improve the quality and usability of its data.
/p pFor this purpose, AKTG is looking for a bBusiness Performance Monitoring BI Specialist /b to design, implement, and maintain business performance monitoring systems that support strategic and operational decision?making across the organisation using its data warehouse and BI systems.
/p h3Responsibilities and Accountability /h3 ul liDesign and implement business performance monitoring frameworks and KPI models.
/li liGather and translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
/li liDevelop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting tools.
/li liEnsure data consistency, quality, and governance across reporting environments.
/li liAnalyse business performance trends and provide actionable insights to management.
/li liCollaborate with business functions (Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, etc.) to define and monitor critical metrics.
/li liSupport automation and optimisation of reporting processes.
/li liWork closely with IT and data engineering teams on data integration and system enhancements.
/li liMonitor performance of BI solutions and continuously improve usability and effectiveness.




/li liContribute to the evolution of the company's data?driven culture.
/li /ul h3Skills and Abilities /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related fields.
/li liProven experience in Business Intelligence, Performance Management, or Data Analytics roles.
/li liStrong knowledge of KPI design and performance measurement methodologies.
/li liExperience with BI and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
/li liBusiness knowledge of the travel industry, particularly cruise lines, tour operators, destination?management companies, and real?estate.
/li liGood knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
/li liUnderstanding of data modelling and reporting architectures.
/li liAdvanced analytical and problem?solving skills.
/li liAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
/li liStrong organisational skills and attention to detail.
/li liExperience in international and cross?functional environments is a plus.
/li liKnowledge of ETL processes and data integration concepts.
/li liFamiliarity with cloud?based analytics platforms.
/li liExperience in performance management within service?oriented or travel?related industries.
/li liUnderstanding of financial and operational reporting principles.
