/p pWe are seeking a bSales Specialist /b to support and grow our business throughout bSouthern Europe /b, with a primary focus on bItaly, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Austria, and Romania /b.
This position plays a critical role in expanding Scanlan's Cardiovascular (CV), Non-CV, and Surgeon Preference product portfolios through distributor partnerships, product evaluations, training, and customer engagement.
/p pThis position will work closely with a dedicated Scanlan Sales Director and Regional Manager, who will provide day-to-day work direction, territory priorities, and strategic sales support.
/p h3bLocation Requirement /b /h3 pTo support frequent international travel and customer engagement, the ideal candidate will be based bnear Venice, Italy, or within convenient access to Venice Marco Polo Airport or another nearby international airport.
/b /p h3bWhat You'll Do /b /h3 h3bDrive Sales Growth and Market Development /b /h3 ul liAchieve territory sales goals and objectives aligned with regional and international sales plans.
/li liIdentify opportunities to expand Scanlan's presence within hospitals, health systems, and distributor networks.
/li liPromote the value of premium-quality surgical instruments and solutions through a consultative sales approach.
/li liDevelop strong relationships with surgeons, operating room teams, distributors, and healthcare stakeholders.
/li liParticipate in business planning, forecasting, and sales strategy initiatives.
/li liSubmit timely and accurate sales reports, activity reports, expense reports, and project updates.
/li liSupport order management activities including backorders, returns, and delivery coordination when required.
/li /ul h3bPartner with Distributors and Support Clinical Adoption /b /h3 ul liWork collaboratively with Scanlan Sales Directors, Regional Managers, and Distributor Representatives to grow sales across multiple product categories, including: Cardiovascular (CV) Instrumentation, General Surgical Instrumentation, Neurosurgical Products, Urology Products, Plastic Surgery Products, Surgeon Preference Single-Use Products /li liConduct product evaluations and support customers during clinical trials and demonstrations.
/li liDeliver product training and education to distributor representatives and clinical users.
/li liAssist with onboarding and development of distributor sales teams to strengthen product knowledge and selling effectiveness.
/li liAttend and support regional and international surgical congresses, educational meetings, and trade shows.
/li liCoordinate territory activities with distributor partners to ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and account coverage.
/li /ul h3bTravel Requirements /b /h3 pThis is a highly field-based position requiring b*****% travel /b throughout Southern Europe.
/p pTravel will primarily support customers and distributor partners across Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Austria, Romania /p pAdditional travel throughout Europe may be required based on business needs.

/li liWillingness and ability to travel extensively ******%) by air, train, automobile, and other modes of transportation.
/li /ul h3bSkills /b /h3 ul libFluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian are required.

/li liAbility to effectively communicate technical product information to healthcare professionals and distributor partners.
/li liValid driver's license and ability to travel internationally.
/li /ul h3bPreferred Qualifications /b /h3 ul li3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably within surgical devices, medical devices, or healthcare products.
/li liDemonstrated success working with distributor-based sales models.
/li liKnowledge of surgical procedures, operating room environments, and surgical instrumentation.
/li liClinical healthcare background or medical sales experience.
/li liExperience supporting product evaluations, surgeon training, and field-based education initiatives.
