In the role of Data Center Site Manager, you are responsible for End-to-end ownership and accountability of our clients’ datacenter technical site. You are responsible for managing the infrastructure in the assigned data center, in conjunction with the Operations Director to ensure optimum performance by implementing and supervising the Planned Preventative Maintenance program.

Ensuring management of facilities services through third party contractors, or direct via staff
Ensuring site cleanliness (through third party contractors)
Supporting ISO14001 (Environmental) ISO27001 (Information Security Management System)
Maintenance and repair of existing infrastructure
Monitoring of all infrastructure
Monitoring of energy efficiency and proactively seek & record savings.
Writing of standard and emergency operations procedures and training of operative staff
Available for out of hours planned and reactive support, included the on call ROTA.
Identifies team technical and professional development and training.
Site Opex cost controlling (including PO raising)
Sales and commercial support including bid support and site tours.
Degree level in Electrical or Mechanical engineering,



or equivalent level of job experience
Willingness to travel between data centers on a regular basis
Fluent in Local Language and English (written and spoken), additional European languages is an asset
Demonstrate critical thinking and innovation in approaching traditional data center problems and emergent challenges.
The role is a full-time position, and your base salary will be commensurate with experience but is expected to be highly competitive. The opportunity is located in Milan, Italy, and will include business travel as needed to meet business demands but will likely be nominal.
