On behalf of one of the market's most forward-thinking, sustainable data centre operators, we are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join their growing engineering team in Milan.

The RoleWorking within a highly sophisticated, state-of-the-art facility, you will ensure 100% continuous uptime of the critical infrastructure. You will be part of a structured, elite shift engineering team responsible for the preventative maintenance,



monitoring, and emergency troubleshooting of complex electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- System Operations: Monitor and operate the Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) to ensure the facility runs within optimal parameters.
- Electrical Maintenance: Conduct first-line troubleshooting and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on MV/LV electrical distribution, UPS networks, static transfer switches, and emergency standby generators.
- Cooling & HVAC: Oversee high-efficiency cooling infrastructure, including chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC units, and modern heat rejection systems designed for the climate.
- Vendor & Incident Management: Escalate issues effectively, manage external specialist contractors on site, and ensure all works strictly adhere to Method Statements (RAMS) and Permit to Work (PTW) protocols.
