Baccarat has been synonymous with craftsmanship, artistry and timeless elegance for more than 260 years. As Baccarat prepares to unveil its first hotel in Europe, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one of the most anticipated luxury hotel openings in Rome.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the manager will provide operational leadership across all engineering, maintenance,
building systems and asset management functions throughout both the pre-opening and operational phases of the hotel.
During pre-opening, you will assist to establish the engineering department from the ground up—developing systems, recruiting and mentoring your team, commissioning building services, managing defects and contractor relationships, implementing preventative maintenance programmes and ensuring every aspect of the hotel is ready for opening day.
Once operational, you will continue to supervise the department, protecting one of Rome's most prestigious luxury assets while delivering an environment that is safe, efficient, sustainable and flawlessly maintained.
What You Will Do
- Assist with the development of departmental operating standards, policies, procedures and preventative maintenance programmes.
- Coordinate building commissioning, systems testing and hotel readiness act
