Power Electronics EngineerJob OverviewWe are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to be responsible for the development of the next generation power converters. The role includes a broad variety of activities, such as:

- Analyzing the project specifications
- Selecting the power conversion topology
- Performing hardware simulations
- Designing the control loop
- Developing the schematic and BOM
- Giving guidance to the colleagues in charge of the PCB layout design
- Developing the control firmware
- Debugging the prototypes
- Identifying testing tools and creating procedures
- Ensuring the compliance with EMC and safety regulations
- Performing cost optimization

Reports ToThe Power Electronics Engineer will join the R&D; team and report directly to the Head of Engineering and/or the Head of Research Activities.




Qualifications and BackgroundThe Eggtronic R&D; Department is constantly studying and creating the best technology and finding the best solutions. Requirements
- Electronic or Electrical Engineer (master’s degree or higher) with high final marks
- Native level of Italian and good English (B1 or higher)

Nice to have
- Recent graduation with significant thesis or internship in the field of power electronics or few years of significant experience in power electronics
- AC/DC, DC/DC
- GaN, Si devices
- Experience with Altium and LTspice
- Resonant converters, Wireless Power Transfer, RF power amplifiers
- Power converters control loops (digital and analogic)
- Programming Microcontrollers in C (STM8, STM32, dsPIC are preferred)
- FPGA (VHDL is preferred)
