Job Description We are seeking a motivated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer to join our Vacuum Technologies R&D; team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, verification, and validation of dry scroll vacuum pumps and rotary vane vacuum pumps, supporting new product development as well as sustaining engineering activities. The role will focus on the design and development of vacuum pump components and assemblies, with particular emphasis on structural and rotodynamic analysis, leveraging simulation tools and experimental methods to ensure product performance, reliability, and durability. The engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including design engineering, manufacturing, testing, and product management throughout the product development lifecycle.
Sebbene l'esperienza qualificato e le qualifiche siano fondamentali per questo ruolo, si assicuri di verificare di possedere le soft skill preferenziali, se richieste, prima di candidarsi.
Key responsibilities include:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for scroll and rotary vane vacuum pumps.
Perform structural analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate strength, stiffness, fatigue life, and reliability of components and systems.
Conduct rotodynamic analyses to assess vibration behavior, critical speeds, dynamic stability, and overall system performance, with a strong focus on reducing noise and vibration levels.
Plan, execute, and analyze experimental validation activities to correlate simulation results with physical testing.
Support noise and vibration investigations through data acquisition and analysis.
Develop test plans, analyze results, and generate technical reports and recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive product improvements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of analytical methodologies, simulation processes, and testing capabilities.
