About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Lara site.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving plant equipment to ensure our manufacturing facility operates safely, reliably and efficiently. Working closely with the Maintenance, Production and Engineering teams, you'll help minimise downtime, improve equipment reliability and support continuous improvement across the site.
What You Will Be Doing

- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical plant and equipment.
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs to minimise production downtime.
- Install, maintain and commission electrical equipment and control systems.
- Perform fault finding on motors, PLCs, VSDs, instrumentation and associated equipment.
- Complete planned maintenance activities through the site's maintenance management system.
- Identify equipment improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation.
- Work collaboratively with Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams to support safe and efficient operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Follow all safety, quality and environmental procedures.
