We are looking for a R&D; Hardware Electronics Senior Engineer to join the Motorsport R&D; Hardware Electronics-Hardware Development Team reporting directly to the Hardware Development Manager. This position is based at our office in Venaria Reale (Turin Area, Italy).
As the R&D; Hardware Electronics Senior Engineer at Marelli, you will contribute to the development of Motorsport ECU and HW electronics applications.
Your Responsibilities

- Guarantee design activities of ECU (Electronic Control Unit), Inverter (GAN/SIC), Drivers, Auxiliary modules.
- Design of the complete electronics of the apparatus (schematics of electronics boards, BoM).
- Define the HW/SW interface working in collaboration with SW designer/System Architect.
- Perform electrical simulations of the electronic circuits.
- Debug and validate the unit.
- Define the testing flow.
- Release and update the product documentation.
- Support Motorsport production activities (SOP and issue resolution).
Qualifications

- Degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Education/Knowledge oriented to Automotive Electronic Units and their main circuit design.
- Good knowledge of electrical system/equipment and testing Automotive Validation.
- Very good knowledge of English and Italian.
- 3–7 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably automotive, traction or industrial.
- Knowledge of standard eCAD for electrical design, including use of Mentor XDesigner schematic entry.
- Good knowledge of Spice and TeamCenter.
- Ability to use lab standard instrumentation (Oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, logic state analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.) for debugging.
- Knowledge of EMC problems, signal integrity, and guidance rules.
