Role Overview
This position offers excellent career and growth opportunities for talented, highly motivated professionals with relevant prior experience in quantitatively intense areas, particularly though not exclusively within financial services. The role will focus on managing projects, with roughly 50% of the time spent on client site versus off‑site, and includes opportunities to travel internationally.
Responsibilities
- Team Leaders would typically work on one project at a time.
- Project work involves developing hypotheses; managing data collection, model creation and analyses; conducting primary and secondary research; creatively tackling information limitations; and surfacing insights while overseeing the work of analysts.
- Using Partners and the internal network effectively to provide technical and senior‑level steering to projects.
- Working in a team together with clients to complete project deliverables to a high standard.
- Maintaining energy and a positive work‑life balance for the team.
- Coaching Oliver Wyman and client team members to develop their skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline. Ideally Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Informatics, Data Science, or Engineering.
- Strong analysis, documentation, and communication skills.
