Job Description

Hill International is looking for a Subsea Engineer for one of our oil and gas projects based in Milano.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:
- Ensure that all necessary technical interfaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times;
- To ensure the overall performance, installability and operability of subsea systems
- To assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaign
- Assuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices,



developing COMPANY's know-how in this area;
- Consistency, quality and cost effectiveness of project design of the subsea production system in compliance with all applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specifications, Contract, International Standards and Engineering Best Practices
- Site Inspection and Interfacing with Contractor on technical and Delivery issues
- Ensuring Delivery of the Subsea Components in line with the Project objectives, Technical interfaces and Requirements

Key Activities
- Assisting the SPS Lead / Package Manager in the following:
- Follow up the detail Engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to Subsea Production Tree systems, subsea tie—ins, ROV tools and subsea structures
- Reviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes,
