Fuel your passion The Senior Valve and Actuator Engineer for Subsea Structures will be responsible for valve and actuator selection utilized across Baker Hughes subsea product line. Responsibility covers, but not limited to: the design and specification for valves used with Baker Hughes manifolds, Xmas Tress, Pipelines, Subsea Distribution Units, Umbilical Termination Assemblies, and Pressure Caps.
As Senior Valve and Actuator Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Selecting valves and actuators, as well as issue the documentation required for subsea products
- Preparing the valves and actuators specifications, fulfilling Customer Specs, International Codes and Third Parties Requirements (i.e. review Factory Acceptance Test procedures, Inspection Test Plan, Quality Control Plan and drawings), in strict coordination with other disciplines such as piping, structure and modeling & drafting
- Taking care of vendor’s and site’s activities follow-up.
- Understanding and having knowledge of NDTs.
- Using Baker Hughes quality tools to measure their performance in
