ph3Job Overview /h3pThe Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company’s net profit contribution. /ppThis role is hybrid (onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month). This is a full‑time temporary contract – maternity cover. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliSource, select, and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market. /liliNegotiate the best possible prices and conditions. /liliWork closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range. /liliMonitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return‑to‑supplier process. /liliMeet regularly with suppliers to review product performance. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliAt least 2–3 years of experience as a home retail buyer. /liliA degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. /liliExpertise in “home textiles” is highly appreciated. /liliStrong negotiation and sourcing skills.
