Within our Investment & Engineering team , part of Operations, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge machinery used in the production of power and telecommunications cables.

In this role, you will play a key part throughout the entire lifecycle of industrial projects—from concept and design to installation, commissioning, and production start-up—working in an international environment and collaborating with teams across the globe.
What You’ll Do
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will:
- Define electrical specifications for machinery and equipment used in cable manufacturing processes.
- Design and develop solutions involving electrical systems, automation, power electronics, drives, and control systems.
- Evaluate and select suppliers for electrical panels and automation solutions.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and start-up of equipment in Prysmian plants worldwide.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure technical excellence, reliability, and operational efficiency.




- Drive continuous improvement by identifying innovative and robust engineering solutions.
