General Academic Advisor (GAA) **Summary**:
Provide comprehensive support for the U.S. Air Force voluntary off-duty education program at Aviano Air Base. Furnish all necessary personnel, equipment, facilities, and transportation to deliver academic advisement, testing administration, document preparation, and administrative services. **Responsibilities**: - Provide academic guidance and advisement to military personnel and dependents
- Administer Air Force, commercial, academic, and other required testing
- Prepare documents associated with education services
- Perform administrative duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Air Force Instructions, DoD regulations, policies, and publications
- Develop expertise in CCAF programs, handbooks, on-base schools,



and degree offerings **Qualifications**: - Thorough understanding of Air Force education policies and programs
- Ability to administer and proctor various testing programs
- Strong academic advisement and counseling skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized with strong administrative skills
