**Primary Responsibilities**: - Collaborate with cross functional teams (not limited to Compliance, Payment Ops and Treasury) to identify & ensure relevant funds are safeguarded as per the EMI Regulations
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting process across the company.
- Manage financial control process and tracking of performance against budgets /forecasts, as well as making sure they align with the company’s OKRs.
- Prepare financial and business performance reports to guide management teams and leadership in decision making.
- Prepare board of directors reports and presentations.
- Prepare business analysis to identify value creation opportunities for TerraPay.
- Business Finance partnering - working closely with stakeholders with business heads across the region to help evaluate new business opportunities, business performance and advise on investments required to be made to grow the business.
- Liaise with external, Internal & safeguarding auditors for completing all audits on time.
- Taking care of fund management by monitoring the inflow & outflow of funds and ensure optimum utilization of available funds to accomplish organizational goals.
- Reviewing the reconciliation activities; including setting up journal entries and accounting for provisions.
- Preparing, examining & analysing accounting records, financial statements & other financial reports to assess accuracy as per International financial reporting standards (IFRS) and Bank of Italy regulations.
- Ensuring the company is in complaint with Italy tax compliances **Qualifications**: - Qualified Accountant with min. 3 years post-qualification experience.
- Industry experience or knowledge of the local regulatory environment (e.g. Bank of Italy, EMI regulations, Italian Tax Authorities) **Essential Skills**: - Interpersonal Skills
