We are currently looking for a Buyer, who will be based in Milan, for our client, a leading company in the restaurant sector entering the Italian market with one of their key brands. It is a very well-known North-American brand. The main mission of this position is to ensure the effective management of the supply chain in Italy, identifying and securing local suppliers, overseeing capillary suppliers, logistics, and order management, while providing essential operational support to the Italy team. This position aims to ensure a seamless flow of goods and services, optimizing supplier relationships and ensuring timely and efficient deliveries throughout the supply chain. As key responsibilities we can highlight the following: - Ensure supply chain management in Italy, coordinating with QSL.
- Manage pricing and price lists with procurement and purchasing administration.
- Search for local supplier alternatives. Plan and manage the transition from "cross-docking" to Italian suppliers, requiring volume management.
- Monitor capillary suppliers, logistics, and order fulfillment.
- Handle supply chain incidents and provide solutions.
- Support the operational needs of the PLK Italy team.




- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Buyer, with expertise in market prospecting and negotiation.
- Experience in hospitality or foodservice industries is amust, especially familiarity with fresh products and expiration management. Direct procurement experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
