Quality Manager **Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products in the field of DIN-Rail, Wiring Accessories and Building Automation. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division located in Vittuone, Italy. You will be mainly accountable for: - Defining test plans to verify the compliance of a product to the requested standards and the fulfillment of its market requirements. - Defining new testing procedures and test cases to functionally verify the performances of the products and their correct integration in wider and more complex ecosystems. - Performing tests on various types of products according to test plan, standards and safety rules, within the timeline assigned.



- Closely collaborate with the R&D; and Quality engineers to develop the best technical solutions to address quality issue and reach the requested product performances. - Performing analysis on experimental data, summarize the results and prepare technical test reports on completed activities. - Proposing and implementing improvements in the existing test set-ups in terms of equipment, techniques, methods, and new tools. - Assisting and supporting external certification inspectors during testing activities for ABB products. - Handling the approval process of ABB products with certification bodies in Italy and abroad and support the Customer Service colleagues in debugging and resolving issues coming from the market. **Qualifications for the role**: - You enjoy working with science and technology supported by a strong technical background
- Have established skills at working independently and in a team setting.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of basic Laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, functions generator etc..).
- You are captivated by strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic, engineering or equivalent.
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken. **More about us**:
