- Collaborate in the execution of ordinary and straordinary maintenance of the electrical and thermo-mechanical systems of EGO site;
- Capability of explanation of electrical or thermo-mechanical scheme;
- Good manual skills to work on electrical and air conditioning systems. To perform this job, it is necessary to move all over the Virgo site. The role may require working outside of normal working hours and participation in a regular on-call rotation. **Essential Skills**
- High school diploma in technical field;
- At least two years of experience in electrical and thermo-hydraulic systems;
- Knowledge of MS Office;
- Knowledge Autocad;
- Knowledge of the English language;
- No criminal convictions.

- Knowledge of the Italian and French languages;
- Ability to comprehend technical information, manuals, reports;
- Capacity to work in team but also in autonomy following the agreed guidelines and operational procedures;

- Good ability to use electrical and environmental measuring instruments. **Work context** The European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) is seeking a Technician to join the Virgo Infrastructures Department. EGO is a French-Italian consortium, founded by INFN and CNRS to foster European collaboration in gravitational-wave research. EGO is located in Cascina, near Pisa - Italy, and hosts and operates the gravitational-wave detector Virgo, a 3 km-long laser interferometer (ITF).
