Head of Private Banking – Milan (Italy)
Lead the next chapter of a prestigious international Private Bank.
Our client, a renowned international Private Bank, is looking to appoint a Head of Private Banking to lead and accelerate the development of its Milan office.
This is a strategic leadership role combining commercial development, people management and business leadership, with direct visibility at executive level.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Private Banking business in Milan.
- Manage, coach and inspire a team of experienced Private Bankers.
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for the Italian market.
- Drive business growth through your personal network and market credibility.
- Develop relationships with entrepreneurs, Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs),



family businesses and key intermediaries.
- Contribute personally to asset gathering while supporting the development of the wider team.
- Act as the ambassador of the bank across the Italian wealth management ecosystem.
- Work closely with senior management on the long-term development of the franchise.

Your profile
- Extensive experience in Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing commercial teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and grow senior bankers.
- Established reputation within the Italian wealth management market.
- Existing network of HNW/UHNW clients, entrepreneurs and professional intermediaries.
- Ability to contribute to new asset acquisition and business development.
- Entrepreneurial mindset combined with excellent relationship management skills.
- Fluent Italian and English are required.
