About the role:

We are looking for a commis de cuisine to support the daily operations of a kitchen section within a Luxury 5-Star Hotel. The commis de cuisine reports to the chef de partie and sous chef. He/she plays a fundamental support role within the kitchen brigade. Responsible for assisting station chefs with preparation, cleanliness, and food consistency, the commis de cuisine contributes to the smooth operation of daily service across various kitchen sections.

This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with culinary training or early-stage experience who wish to grow within a dynamic and high-standard culinary environment.





The commis de cuisine is expected to demonstrate discipline, eagerness to learn, and commitment to quality in every task performed.

Profile

Main Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation across various sections, including vegetables, meats, sauces, and garnishes.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and readiness before and after each service.
- Follow standard recipes and presentation guidelines without deviation.
- Assist in buffet setup, banquets, or room service prep as needed.
- Transport food items between kitchen stations, cold rooms, and service areas.
- Participate in cleaning, stock rotation, and receiving procedures.
- Follow all hygiene, allergen, and HACCP protocols.
- Learn and execute new tasks as assigned, demonstrating progress.
- Be flexible and assist other sections when needed.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
