What will you be doing?

· Installing and replacing Smart Meters.

· Inspecting electrical installations before and after completing the work.

· Carrying out voltage checks, circuit continuity measurements and safety tests.

· Safely disconnecting, isolating and reconnecting electrical installations.

· Recording completed work and test results using a company tablet.

· Reporting any faults, irregularities or potential safety hazards.

· Working strictly in accordance with technical instructions, health and safety regulations and company standards.

· Communicating with homeowners and explaining the work being carried out.

This role requires you to follow clearly defined procedures. Professional experience is important, but accuracy and attention to detail are equally essential. Required steps must not be skipped, and unauthorised shortcuts are not permitted.

What do you need?

· Electrical or related technical education equivalent to at least EQF Level 4; preferably EQF Level 5





· At least 2 years of professional experience as an electrician.

· A valid category B driving licence and the ability to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission.

· Communicative English, as the recruitment interview and training will be conducted in English.

· Willingness to relocate to Ireland.

· The legal right to work in the European Union.

· Accuracy and readiness to work in strict accordance with established procedures.

· The ability to perform and document electrical measurements and safety tests.

References from previous employers may be required.
