ph3Job Description /h3pDatalogic is looking for a Business Unit Senior Controller, this position will be a key member of Planning Control and will actively contribute in shaping the future of Datalogic’s success inside the controlling team in Calderara di Reno (BO). /ph3Role Mission /h3pThe role will act as a strategic finance partner to the business, providing rigorous analysis, forward-looking insight, and clear recommendations that drive informed decision-making, accountability, and sustainable performance improvement. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliLead the annual budget and quarterly forecast process for BU sales, capex, and operating costs — challenging assumptions and aligning financial targets with business strategy in close partnership with business management. /liliServe as the primary finance business partner to BU leaders, translating PL results and financial performance into clear, actionable insights that drive timely and informed business decisions. /liliDeliver monthly and quarterly management reporting and statistical analysis, proactively highlighting risks, opportunities, and emerging trends beyond the numbers. /liliAct as a trusted sparring partner to the BU General Manager, actively contributing to initiatives that drive sustainable growth and profitability. /liliConduct product profitability and investment return analyses; partner with BU management in the development of new product business cases, bringing financial judgement to support go/no-go decisions. /liliMonitor sales and margin evolution,



delivering variance analysis vs. budget and prior year with clear narrative and recommended corrective actions. /liliBuild and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across the organization, acting as a connector between finance and business to foster a performance-driven culture. /liliFoster the adoption of new business analytics tools, partnering with relevant teams to enhance financial visibility and decision-support capabilities across the BUs. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliEducation (School/Specialization): Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics /liliLanguages: Fluent English and Italian; written and verbal communication /liliExperience: At least 5 years of proven controlling expertise in complex multinational environments, in companies where the control is deeply involved into the business. /li /ulh3Other Informations And Specific Skills /h3ulliKnowledge of the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency) /liliAccounting and strong numeric and analytical skills, detail-orientation /liliHighly organized with a reliable working method /liliBusiness acumen /liliAbility to work proactively and in a support role /liliHighly driven with an ability to work effectively both under own initiative and in a fast paced and challenging context /liliCurious, willing to learn attitude /liliTeam worker, good communication and listening skills /liliWilling to travel would be considered as a plus /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
