/p pThe candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of guaranteeing the quality and efficiency of the administrative-financial department while supporting the Management in the economic, fiscal, financial and legal governance system of the company.
/p pPlace of work will be at Element Materials Technology Milan Srl in Crema, remote work up to 2 days a week possible.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManage audit and statutory accounts process and ensure compliance with other mandatory local regulations /li liMaintain and evolve the financial control environment, implement robust and scalable processes to ensure strong internal controls are in place /li liSupport preparation of budget and forecast planning /li liSupport capital expenditure in both preparation of business cases along with tracking expenditure and financial returns /li liKeep control of progress on testing projects to allow for correct periodical revenue recognition /li liSupport the cluster's finance business partner on finance tasks for branches in Germany and the Netherlands /li liLead local period end close processes and deliver accurate and meaningful monthly reports and management information to support the cluster management team /li liCashflow forecasting /li liAd hoc assignments to support finance teams and wider business divisional strategy /li liSupervision of accounting entries, including invoice postings and general ledger activities, with support to GBD team (GL accounting and Accounts Payable) /li liSupervise a team of three administrative resources (procurement and invoicing)



/li /ul h3Skills / Qualifications /h3 ul liAbility to identify issues and areas for improvement through analysis /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills /li liExcellent numeracy skills /li liIntermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages, experience with MS D365 FO and OneStream is a plus /li liQualified Accountant /li liAn emotionally intelligent professional with interpersonal skill and highly developed influencing and communication skills /li liAbility to demonstrate credibility and proven success in driving improvements as a value added partner /li liFluent in Italian and English /li liOccasional travel required /li /ul h3Background Experience /h3 ul liExperience with working within multi-national businesses /li liExperience working within a company that has Business/Shared services where accounting activities are performed centrally /li /ul h3Diversity Statement /h3 pIn Element siamo sempre orgogliosi di mettere al primo posto le nostre persone.
