ph3Senior Software Cyber Security Developer /h3pWhat you will do: The Senior Software Cyber Security Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions for industrial applications, with a focus on low?level communication and integration with hardware devices.
The role requires strong analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team.
/pulliDevelop and maintain software following secure coding practices and SSDLC principles.
/liliPerform root cause analysis of security vulnerabilities, software defects and field issues.
/liliDesign, develop, test and validate security patches, mitigations and temporary workarounds for identified vulnerabilities.
/liliManage the vulnerability lifecycle, including identification, assessment, prioritization, remediation and verification activities.
/liliAnalyze CVEs, security advisories and vulnerability disclosures to evaluate potential impact on company products.
/liliAssess and prioritize vulnerabilities using CVSS scoring methodologies and risk?based approaches.
/liliParticipate in threat modelling activities during product design and development phases.
/liliSupport emergency response activities, including development and deployment of hot fixes for critical security issues.
/liliCollaborate with QA and cybersecurity teams to validate remediation effectiveness and prevent vulnerability recurrence.
/liliManage source code versioning, branching strategies and release processes using Git?based workflows.
/liliContribute to secure architecture reviews and software security improvement initiatives.
/liliDocument security findings, remediation activities, risk assessments and technical decisions.
/li /ulh3Key Requirements /h3ulliDegree in Computer Science, Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Biomedical, Telecommunications, Automation) or related field.




/liliAt least 6 years of professional experience in software development, software maintenance or cybersecurity?related software engineering roles.
/liliStrong knowledge of secure coding practices and common software vulnerability classes (OWASP Top 10, CWE).
/liliExperience developing, testing and deploying security patches, mitigations and emergency hot fixes.
/liliProven experience performing root cause analysis and corrective action definition.
/liliKnowledge of vulnerability management processes and vulnerability lifecycle management.
/liliUnderstanding of CVE and CVSS and ability to read, interpret and assess security advisories, vulnerability disclosures and vendor bulletins.
/liliExperience with source code management, branching strategies and release management using Git, Bitbucket or similar tools.
/liliFamiliarity with threat modelling methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
/liliExperience working in Agile and DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines.
/liliSolid experience in object?oriented programming (Delphi/Object Pascal with RAD preferred, C++, C#).
/liliProven experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP), TCP/IP socket programming, OPC, and serial interfaces (RS485).
/liliExperience with database management (SQL/NoSQL; Embarcadero and/or PostgreSQL is a plus).
/liliFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks (DUnit, TestInsight or similar).




/li /ulh3Nice to Have /h3ulliExperience reviewing public security advisories and CVE disclosures.
/liliContribution to or collaboration with open?source projects and communities.
/liliFamiliarity with coordinated vulnerability disclosure processes.
/liliKnowledge of vulnerability databases such as NVD, MITRE CVE and CISA advisories.
/liliExperience interacting with external security researchers or product security incident response teams (PSIRT).
/liliSecurity certifications or specialized security training.
/li /ulh3Additional Experience /h3ulliExperience or knowledge in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit?learn).
/liliAbility to design and implement basic machine learning models for industrial data analysis or predictive maintenance.
/liliFamiliarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
/liliUnderstanding of how to integrate machine learning components into existing software architectures.
/liliInterest in exploring AI?driven solutions for industrial automation and process optimisation.
/liliExperience in networking and related protocols.
/liliExperience with virtual machine technologies (VMware, Docker).
/liliExperience in domain management (LDAP).
