Your impact Support and collaborate with the Engineering Manager and/or the Project Manager in the technical management of the project to achieve targets in terms of cost, schedule, performance, quality, DHSE.
Support and collaborate with the Engineering Manager and/or the Project Manager in planning project technical activities.
Facilitate, monitor, and ensure the correct flow of information and design data across all project stakeholders (Jacobs team – Home Office and GID – consultants, client, and vendors).
Ensure the continuous update of the Project Deliverables List as a live document throughout the entire project duration.
Support Project Controls in monitoring design progress and coordinate the activities of all engineering disciplines to meet design schedule targets.
Be accountable for coordination documents (Equipment List, Fluid List, Fluid Consumption List, Equipment Layout, GMP Layout, Coordination Layout, P&ID; Lead Sheets, etc.), ensuring content consistency across disciplines and their continuous update.
Support and facilitate key project meetings (Design Reviews, 3 D Model Reviews, HAZOP and DHSE Reviews, GMP Reviews, etc.).
Manage P&IDs; (master copy) directly or indirectly – depending on project size and setup – and monitor their management.
Support the Engineering Manager and/or the Project Manager in identifying and managing design changes (change notice coordination,
TCR log management, etc.).
Support Procurement by coordinating engineering discipline activities to meet procurement and contracting plan targets (technical documentation readiness, completeness and consistency, bid alignment, negotiations, vendor follow-up, etc.).
Support the Engineering Manager, Quality Manager, and Project Manager in identifying and implementing corrective actions related to design issues.
When required, assume the role of Field Project Engineer and support Construction Management - and, in some cases, CQV Management – In coordinating on-site engineering related activities.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Design Coordination Discipline and to the Project Manager when assigned to projects.
Here's what you'll need Degree in Engineering.
Min 5 years of experience in the design of industrial projects.
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Data Center, Buildings and Logistic business would be an asset.
Knowledge of technical and commercial obligations.
Experience in setting, development, evaluation and implementation of technical specifications and documentation for Rf Q (Request for Quotation).
Experience in technical bid analysis and support to procurement.
Coordination skills and ability to motivate team members to defined goals.
Problem solving attitude.
Accountability on schedule and costs.
Knowledge of local and international technical codes.
Other requirements: Fluency in English and Italian Availability to frequent travels or short/long term assignments abroad is required by the position.
Strong communication skills.
High level of Safety Awareness.
