ppWe’re seeking a bdynamic and innovative /b Head of Environmental Permits with experience in sectors such as Renewable, Infrastructures, Energy, and Industrial. As part of our EHS and Sustainability Team, you will lead large, complex permitting projects, manage a team of environmental permitting professionals, and align permitting activities with the organization’s environmental strategy and sustainability goals. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Strategic Leadership /h3 ul liImplement the environmental permitting strategy to ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental regulations. /li liAlign permitting goals with the organization’s business objectives, sustainability commitments, and risk management strategies. /li liMonitor changes in environmental laws and policies and adapt strategies accordingly. /li /ul h3Team Department Management /h3 ul liManage the environmental permitting team(s), ensuring they are appropriately trained, resourced, and effective. /li liFoster leadership development, team collaboration, and performance excellence. /li liOversee all permitting processes and act as the decision-maker on key permits and high-risk compliance decisions. /li liProvide technical expertise and oversight for major or complex permitting processes. /li liAct as the primary liaison with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and other external stakeholders to build positive relationships and foster collaborative problem‑solving. /li liManage negotiations for permits, exemptions, and compliance agreements.
