Key Responsibilities
Manage and support day-to-day HSE activities across the project site.
Ensure construction activities are carried out in accordance with project HSE procedures and applicable Italian regulations.
Conduct site inspections, audits and safety observations.
Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
Review RAMS, method statements, risk assessments and contractor HSE documentation.
Deliver and support toolbox talks, inductions and safety briefings.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with project HSE requirements.
Support safe working practices during wind turbine and associated balance-of-plant construction activities.
Investigate incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions and support corrective actions.
Maintain HSE documentation, records and reporting.
Participate in project HSE meetings and communicate safety performance to relevant stakeholders.
Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
Requirements
Essential:
Previous HSE experience on onshore wind projects.
Fluent Italian.
Valid / in-date GWO certifications.
Relevant HSE / Health & Safety qualifications or certifications.
Strong understanding of construction-site HSE procedures.
Experience working with contractors and subcontractors.
Ability to identify, report and manage site safety risks.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Desirable:
Experience working on utility-scale renewable energy projects in Italy.
Previous experience with wind turbine installation or major wind OEM/EPC contractors.
Knowledge of Italian HSE legislation and site requirements.
Experience across civil works, electrical works, lifting operations and turbine installation.
English language capability alongside fluent Italian.
