This includes ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with regulatory and company standards across all project phases from design and construction to commissioning and operations, candidate responsibilities. General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Design & Engineering Review and consent to the design of electrical power distribution systems (LV, MV, HV) for oil and gas installations. Review the developed single-line diagrams (SLDs), load lists,



cable schedules, grounding and lighting layouts. Review and approve the selected electrical equipment including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, batteries, and motors. Perform electrical system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination). Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA, ATEX). Project Execution & Procurement Review and approve vendor documents and technical specifications. Prepare Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs), and equipment datasheets. Interface with other engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction teams to ensure design integration. Construction & Commissioning Supervise installation of electrical systems and ensure compliance with approved designs and standards.
