Education
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN Preferred
Experience / Qualifications
Current RN licensure in the state of Florida
BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
Five (5) years of nursing experience with three (3) in Oncology related field preferred
Must have knowledge of physician office processes.
Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
Must be proficient in building relationships and in coordination of all aspects of care.




Knowledgeable of oncology disease process and symptom management.
Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships and communication levels with patients, employees, physicians, administration and the general public.
Performs independently within his/her scope of practice.
Ability to interpret, recognize, analyze difficulties in patient care situations.
Exhibits excellent leadership, organizational, written, and verbal communication and excellent interpersonal skills.
Position Summary
The Nurse Navigator will serve as a single point of contact for referring physicians, patients, and caregivers to provide resources and assistance to patients. They will assist in overcoming treatment barriers while expediting access to clinical and supportive care services offered within the Jupiter Medical Center’s Program, and the community.
