Marsh Risk is currently seeking a
Graduate
to join its
Finance FP&A;
team, based in Milan. This role is hybrid, with a requirement to work from the office three days per week.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Graduate will support the Marsh Finance Director in the consolidation and review of forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for
Italy and the Eastern Mediterranean & Caspian Region.
We will count on you to:
- Play a critical role in the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and planning outlooks, highlighting material variances, risks, opportunities, and a range of outcomes.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant revenue drivers, sources of growth, and business trends.
- Prepare financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Update financial databases by entering, verifying, and securing data.
- Assist in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; track and report on initiatives.
- Assist in the month-end close process by preparing recurring, standard, and ad hoc reports, and by researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.
- Analyze basic financial data and perform quantitative analyses to support sound and defensible recommendations.
- Review and conduct simple analyses of financial planning information and reports, and make recommendations for changes to management.
- Evaluate financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
- Prepare financial presentations using a variety of formats, including charts, graphs, and econometric models.
- Maintain best-practice policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
What you need to have:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong critical/analytical thinker and business acumen
- Fluency in English and in Italian
