We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to support enterprise WAN/LAN infrastructure operations, with a strong focus on MPLS network technologies and Cisco routing environments. This is a long-term, on-site engagement based in Rome, Italy, offering the opportunity to work on complex network architecture and administration for a large-scale enterprise environment.
The role requires hands-on expertise across routing protocols, network administration, and rotational on-call support to ensure infrastructure reliability and uptime.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Cisco routers and core WAN/LAN network infrastructure
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot MPLS network environments
- Implement and manage routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and static routing




- Support network stability and performance across enterprise sites
- Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to address infrastructure incidents outside standard hours
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure network architecture aligns with business and technical requirements
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions in line with governance standards

Required Experience & Skills
Overall Experience: 10+ years
Relevant Experience: 8+ years in network engineering/administration
