Chapter Leader Product Management
In this role, you will be part of the DC UPS agile team . As a Product Manager within the team you will be responsible for profitable growth of your product line driving and contributing return on investment for ABB ’s Power Protection business . You will be part of the DC UPS strategy to market covering specific UPS product lines ensuring ABB has a full understanding of market requirements and transforming those requirements into offer specifications and development activities.
You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities a: supporting development, value propositions developments, driving successful launches,



managing product maintenance, pricing, and profitability—while meeting aggressive cost-per-kW targets and sustainability commitments.
The role is a Global role with no intention for relocation, the designated locations are where Critical Power have manufacturing units and hence are of a preference, although all candidates are welcome to apply and will be considered.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid and the preferred location of hire is Europe or US
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Understanding and following global standards, market and customer requirements, and their impact on the current offer portfolio.
- Conducting valuation of market size and trends, competitor benchmarking (including reverse-costing), and identifying offering gaps to strengthen ABB’s market standing.
