PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (work experience)
Minimum 1-3 years of active experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the automotive industry.

MAIN TASKS
- Represent the company and own the relationship with Suppliers
- Take ownership in managing and leading the assigned supply base.
- Perform Potential supplier assessment “PSA”
- Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions
- Manage supplier crisis (quality and/or capacity issues) with on-site support within 24 hours when required
- Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements




- Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook
- Improve quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier site and assist supplier in developing a robust quality system
- Plan and conduct on site Audit to assigned supply base

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
- University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- The preferred areas of specialization are mechanical, electronic, aeronautical, chemical, and industrial process engineering.”
- Technical and Quality Certifications are a plus

TECHINICAL AND SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED
- Fluent communication in English and Italian (oral & written)
- Proficiency in print reading and interpretation, part measurement, gage design and function
- Knowledge of geometric design and tolerancing (GD&T;)
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, tooling, equipment and facilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of probability, statistical quality control a
