ENGINEERING DIRECTOR - ELECTRICAL & ELECTROMECHANICAL SECTOR
In this role you lead the Engineering function for a multinational electromechanical components producer, shaping technical strategy, governance, and lifecycle processes. You'll manage Engineering and R&D; teams, drive product development, and ensure compliance and continuous improvement across segments. You will oversee budgets, resources, and certifications, while guiding cross-functional activity with a focus on safety and sustainability. This position offers the opportunity to influence global engineering standards and contribute to strategic product roadmaps.

- Define and execute the Engineering strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead Engineering and R&D; teams, ensuring required skills and priorities
- Maintain and improve Engineering and Product Lifecycle processes, standards, tools, and best practices
- Monitor application of processes across the organization, including Technical Support
- Manage Engineering budget, resources,



capacity planning, KPIs, risks, and project priorities
- Lead product development, innovation roadmaps, validation, certification, industrialization, and lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, environmental, safety, and sustainability requirements
- Provide governance over Engineering Services (reliability, FMEA, RAMS/EN50126, product safety, homologation, certification)
- Provide governance over Technical Support activities (sales support, documentation alignment, drawings, FAI, coaching)
- Oversee product certification and technical compliance documentation, acting as signatory where required
- Drive Intellectual Property strategy, patent portfolio, and continuous improvement
- Represent the company in technical and standardization committees
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of electronic and electromechanical componen
