Milan Aesthetic Research Center is a center of excellence for design located in Milan that creates compelling customer experiences for Huawei products and retail spaces.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, and developers to conceptualize and design visually compelling solutions.
- Research and analyze emerging market trends across design aesthetics and technology.
- Conduct benchmark analyses of products, services, and digital experiences.
- Define UX concepts, future product visions, and user scenarios for next-generation products and services within the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
- Create high-quality visuals for digital interfaces, ensuring seamless user experience while maintaining brand consistency.
- Contribute to the art direction and overall visual strategy of the team’s projects.
- Interact and potentially collaborate with motion designers and/or 3D artists (or experiment directly with motion & 3D) to enhance visual concepts.

Required Skills




- Proven experience in UI design and Art Direction for digital products or operating systems.
- Strong portfolio showcasing advanced visual design skills and creativity.
- Deep interest in technology and passion for exploring cutting‑edge design trends.
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI generative tools (Midjourney, Magnific, Kling).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player who can also work independently, with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Willingness to work in a multicultural and international environment.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Knowledge of motion design (e.g., After Effects) and/or 3D modeling/animation tools (e.g., Cinema 4D).
- Familiarity with design systems and prototyping tools.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within a team environment.
