About the role
We are looking for a Raw Material Specialist to join our Research & Development team in Milan. The role is focused on the development and industrialization of innovative materials and compounds for truck tyre applications , working at the intersection of material innovation, industrial processes, supplier management and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical interface with raw material suppliers , supporting material selection, validation, supplier development and innovation activities.
- Work closely with Procurement, Quality, Industrialization, Product Development, Testing and Manufacturing teams , supporting material‑related decision making and ensuring alignment across technical, quality and business requirements.
- Perform chemical and physical characterization of raw materials and compounds, using advanced laboratory methodologies and technologies.
- Develop compounds for truck tyre applications , managing the process from laboratory development through industrialization.
- Support raw material scouting activities , evaluating new materials and technologies to enhance compound performance, sustainability and industrial robustness.
- Carry out reverse engineering
