Description
In this role, you will have a strong market and customer focus, driving sales activities and managing relationships with a portfolio of strategic customers operating across the Oil & Gas, LNG, offshore energy, carbon management and emerging e-fuels value chains.
You will act as the voice of the customer within DNV, challenging the organization on customer centricity, identifying market opportunities and supporting the development of innovative service offerings aligned with evolving industry needs.
You will be responsible for managing selected strategic accounts and strengthening DNV's position as a trusted advisor to major energy companies, EPC contractors, developers, investors and governmental stakeholders involved in the energy transition.
In collaboration with Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs, you will drive DNV's external positioning and visibility within the industry. Furthermore, you will contribute to building commercial capabilities and fostering a high-performing and collaborative sales culture.
Primary Task Roles
- Drive business development activities and sales growth and increase order intake within the Oil & Gas, LNG, CCS, hydrogen and e-fuels sectors.
- Manage and develop relationships with strategic customers including operators, EPC contractors, technology providers, investors and governmental institutions.
- Support the sales pipeline from lead generation to contract award and project execution.
- Influence project pricing strategies, bid quality and resource allocation across business areas.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty.
- Identify new business opportunities arising from energy transition initiatives, decarbonization programs and emerging fuel markets.
- Gather deep customer and market insights, including competitor intelligence, regulatory developments and investment trends.
