For our R&D; Centre, located at AREA Science Park in Trieste, we are looking for a new colleague (f/m) for the Research & Innovation department:

Your main responsibilities:

Execution of innovation projects in the Food Packaging sector: study of new materials and their implementation on production lines, resolution of packaging-related issues, and support in the development of new products in the field of packaging
Research and analysis of new and innovative technologies for the production and packaging of products in the gluten-free and medical nutrition sectors
Collaboration with the technical department in the implementation of new plants or the improvement of existing ones
Execution of industrial trials at our production facilities or at third-party manufacturers

Your profile:

Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Materials Engineering / Management Engineering
Preferably 3–5 years of experience in the packaging sector within food companies,



with knowledge of food technologies and industrial food processing plants
Ability to work in a team, proactive mindset, motivation to achieve goals, problem-solving skills, and strong project management capabilities
Flexibility and willingness to travel in Italy and abroad are required
Fluent English skills; knowledge of German is considered a plus
