W Executive, an international HR consulting & Executive Search firm, is supporting a leading industrial group in recruiting its future Head of Product Futures & Innovation M|F.

Position based in Italy.

Reporting directly to the Executive Leadership, this role steers the product vision of tomorrow and the innovation architecture of an international group. Its mission : drive emerging technologies, build the next generation of product platforms, and anchor a fully integrated innovation dynamic from concept to industrialization.

Key Responsibilities :
- • Define the overarching product and technology innovation strategy, encompassing advanced design, next-generation materials, ergonomics, and sustainable approaches.
- • Lead the development of breakthrough product platforms, working closely with R&D;, Design, Development, and Operations teams.
- • Identify, test, and integrate cutting-edge materials in collaboration with suppliers, laboratories, startups, and academic partners.




- • Champion eco-design and guide industrial methods toward more efficient and responsible processes.
- • Introduce tools and workflows to accelerate creation cycles : digital prototyping, simulation, automation, and new construction methods.
- • Ground innovation in user behavior analysis and consumer insights.
- • Inspire and unite multidisciplinary teams, foster a culture of rapid experimentation, and advise leadership on strategic investment priorities.

Ideal Profile :

A C-Level leader with strong experience in product innovation and a significant background in footwear & accessories. Deep expertise in materials, performance technologies, and international industrialization environments. Proven ability to translate complex innovations into scalable, high-impact product solutions. Degree in design, engineering, or materials science ; MBA preferred.
