Overview
In a demanding and constantly evolving environment, you’ll contribute to the smooth running of cash operations and protect CHANEL by ensuring compliance with the flow of money.
This Sales Administration Specialist role is client-facing. Beyond administrative duties and safeguarding compliance, you will clearly and professionally explain payment procedures to clients, both in boutique and remotely, and engage in effective conversations to resolve any issues while maintaining a high standard of service and strict adherence to company policies.

Core Responsibilities
- Cash operations
- Prepare cash deposits and produce daily recap documents
- Check and file all cash register documents requiring special authorization and archiving (returns, self-certification, policy on sale, export sales, gifts, etc.)
- Compile daily accounting figures, countersign register closure documents, and prepare monthly and daily documents to send to headquarters
- Manage petty cash: track expenses, justify them,



and send them to the accounting department
- Ensure cash register closures and participate in call conferences, meetings, training and updates concerning cash desk/payment/fiscal system topics, sharing related information with the store team
- Daily reassortment of cash desk positions with needed materials
- Client engagement
- Clearly explain payment procedures to clients, both in person and remotely
- Complete bank transfer operations: send link to client, verify arrival and assignment to boutique, notify Fashion Advisor, confirm conformity with reservation; investigate unrelated transfers to ensure correct allocation and inform accounting
- Engage in direct conversations with clients to resolve payment‑related issues, maintaining CHANEL’s high standards of service and compliance
- Support Fashion Advisors in complex cash register procedures and in all payment topics when needed
